The "Weeder" Reality

The university highlights its "state-of-the-art labs" and "rigorous STEM programs." What they don't mention is that classes like General Chemistry and Physics are designed as filters. These "weeder" courses aren't just about learning; they’re about endurance. While the tour guides talk about collaborative learning, your actual Tuesday night will likely be spent staring at a 42% average on a Chem midterm, wondering if the curve will save you.
